The Temple Amateur Radio Club participates and sponsors several events throughout the year. Some of these events are contest, and some are public service events where we help out other organizations by providing communications.

Upgrade Classes

Ham Classes

       Temple Amateur Radio Club will sponsor HAM RADIO classes, beginning Tuesday evening, April 6, 2004, at 7 p.m.  The location will be the usual club meeting location at the fellowship hall of the Western Hills Church of Christ, located on the northwest side of the ADAMS AVE. and IH-35 crossover. Classes will meet on Tuesday and Friday evenings, from 7 to 9 p.m., for six weeks.  

        The classes are FREE, but students must purchase their own study materials. We will order all books for the classes. The cost of books varies according to the class of LICENSE, and usually runs about $20.00, or less.

        We will strive to accomodate the needs for both UPGRADES and the beginning TECHNICIAN Class of license.
